Jim Wann, from Chattanooga, TN, is a Singer/Guitarist, concert performer, and composer/lyricist/theatre artist. His shows and recordings combine a Southern Roots sensibility with an affinity for original storytelling that places acoustic musicians in the spotlight. Jim’s collaborations include the Tony-nominated (Best Musical) Pump Boys And Dinettes (…), due back in New York in Summer 2014, and the ever-evolving King Mackerel (…), often performed to benefit environmental organizations. In concert, Jim enjoys giving Johnny Mercer classics, his own songs, and traditional tunes the acoustic treatment, allowing the lyrics to shine and telling an overall story in an evening of music.
